Once the land and its boundaries have been identified, the boundaries are cleared and boundary markers are placed.
The boundary coordinates are then digitized using Differential GPS technology for accurate recording of the boundary positions.
The plots already localized and digitized are monitored every 3 months for boundary accuracy, physical signs of encroachment, any activity that might threaten the integrity of the boundary are all recorded and reported via SMS and email.
Once a year shrub clearance is undertaken to ensure the land is well maintained and to ensure visibly that the land is being maintained.
All the boundary markers are also photographed for better record keeping, that ensures virtual inspection from the Land Bank Information System.

The Land Bank Information System dashboard offers a rich view of the land records by offering land value graphs, and uses google maps to virtually view the boundaries and overlay photos and documents over different parcels of land, giving organizations a centralized repository of its most prized assets.
The portal has multi-level access controls that allows limited access to certain users and higher levels of access to others.
